FBCCI handed over health care and medical supplies to Dhaka North City Corporation

The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the apex trade body, handed over health care and medical supplies to Dhaka North City Corporation as part of countrywide health care and medical supplies distribution by FBCCI.
Today Sunday (17th July) at Motijheel, FBCCI President Md. Jasim Uddin handed over these items to the Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mr. Atiqul Islam. Gazipur City Corporation Mayor Mr. Jahangir Alam, FBCCI Senior Vice President Mostofa Azad Chowdhury Babu, Vice Presidents Mr. M.A Momen, Md. Amin Helaly, Md. Habib Ullah Dawn and other Directors of FBCCI were present at the Meeting.
Welcoming the FBCCI's noble initiative, DNCC Mayor Mr. Atiqul Islam said, Businessmen have always stood by the people during the country's crisis. Every human being should stand by people. The DNCC mayor urged everyone to wear masks and follow the health rules properly.
Mayor Atiqul Islam thanked the FBCCI President for providing these health care and medical supplies to the DNCC during this country's crisis.
FBCCI President Mr. Md. Jasim Uddin said- Covid new cases are increasing day by day. There is no alternative to creating public awareness including wearing masks and adhering to the health rules until 100% of the people in the country is vaccinated. The main objective of this program is to create public awareness. This corona epidemic can be overcome only if awareness is created among the people along with getting people vaccination.
He further said, Hospitals are in lack of medical supplies. To contribute to the government, we are distributing 01 (one) crore face masks, 2000 oxygen cylinders, 200 high flow nasal cannula, 200 oxygen concentrators step by step across the country. This process will be continued in the future. FBCCI President asked the businessmen to join these great initiatives.
