With a stern message about drugs, the IGP said to the unit chiefs, “Either you will stay in your area or there will be drugs. You can't stay if there are drugs, and if you stay there can be no drugs.”
“There could be no corruption inside or outside the police. We want to see the police free from corruption, free from drugs,” he remarked.
Emphasizing on technology-based innovative policing out of traditional policing, the IGP said, “Police officials need to practice knowledge regularly. Professional skills should be developed through the search for knowledge about police laws, regulations, etc. Always stay up to date on professional knowledge and good practice.”
